Policy Agreement


Payments: Payments must be made in cash or via e-transfer and are required upon the completion of services provided on that day. Failure to submit payment same-day will result in future cleaning services needing to be paid prior to booking. Refusal to pay for services rendered within 14 days of invoice being sent will be subject to legal action.

Rates: All services are performed by a team of two cleaners allowing us to complete tasks more efficiently while ensuring a consistently high standard of work. Rates for residential cleaning are $35.00 per hour, per cleaner, with a service minimum of 3 hours. For commercial cleaning such as AirBNB, rates vary depending on condition of the unit, time required and estimate will be given upon viewing unit.

Cancellation Policy: Clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours written notice for cancellation of cleaning appointments. If no notice is given, the client will be responsible for 50% of the price of the cleaning service. More than one cancellation will require a deposit of 50%  before booking future appointments. This deposit will be credited toward the cost of the services.

Pet Policy: Pets must be crated or in a secure area we will not be entering to ensure their comfort and ours prior to our arrival. This precaution will also help prevent any accidents of your pets trying to leave while we transport our equipment in and out of your home.

Abuse and harassment: Abuse of any kind is not tolerated and services will be canceled permanently. The client shall be responsible to pay for any hours for cleaning up to that point. 

Insurance and Liability: Sparkluxe Cleaning has liability insurance and is also covered by WCB and have completed criminal record checks.

Closed Door Policy: We respect your privacy, Sparkluxe Cleaning will not enter any room with a closed door unless permission is given prior to our arrival. 

Locked-out/No Response: If we are unable to access the property upon arrival due to being locked out and and there is no response to texts or calls, a locked-out fee equivalent to 50% of the cleaning service cost will be applied. Any future appointments will require a 50% deposit prior to booking.

Clutter: Kindly ensure that all countertops, floors, and furniture are free of clutter (toys/garbage/dishes/laundry etc). Excess clutter will increase time it takes to clean.

Photos: We document our cleans with photos for our records, which remain confidential. With client consent, we may share images of before and afters to highlight our work. We will never share photos with personal information in them.


Time constraints: If the requested service can't be completed within the specified hours, the client will be promptly notified. Client can choose to prioritize specific areas, knowing the entire clean may not be finished, or request additional time to complete the service.
